Part of the exhibition in London at The Holy Art Gallery with "The Sky Within"

We are delighted to announce that Breeny Collins' work The Sky Within is currently on display (May 10-12) as part of an international exhibition in London. It is presented by "The Holy Art Gallery", a platform for contemporary art that brings together artists from various countries and highlights new positions in an international context.

For our artist, this exhibition is a significant step, as it transitions her previous artistic endeavors into a new, international framework.

About the work "The Sky Within"

"The Sky Within" depicts a young woman in a close frontal perspective against a wide, vibrant blue sky with soft cloud formations. The imagery is rich in color and, in its visual power, is reminiscent of elements of Pop Art, yet deliberately without harsh contours. This creates an atmospheric, almost floating surface that oscillates between reality and imagination.

The depicted woman wears large, round sunglasses with transparent frames. Her gaze is slightly directed upwards, as if she is perceiving something beyond the visible. Reflected in the lenses is a propeller plane, drawing a female symbolic form in the sky – made visible by contrails stretching across the sky.

At the same time, she holds a bright pink lollipop in her mouth, which was created from an impression of Collins' chest. This detail directly connects the body with the image and anchors the work on a physical, very personal level.

Between external perception and internal imagery

"The Sky Within" explores the tension between external perception and internal imagination. The work operates at the intersection of body, symbol, and projection, questioning how identity and femininity are both socially shaped and internally constructed.

The sky functions not only as a background but as a projection surface for meanings, desires, and attributions. At the same time, the physical origin of the image refers to the immediate, material presence of the body as the starting point of this visual narrative.

This creates a field of tension between visibility and attribution, between self-image and external perception.

International Exhibition in London

The presentation at The Holy Art Gallery is a valuable opportunity for Breeny Collins to make her work accessible to an international audience. London, as an art city, provides a special context where diverse artistic positions converge.

It will be exciting to see how "The Sky Within" unfolds in this new environment and what resonance the work generates outside of its usual context.

Outlook

This exhibition is another step on Breeny Collins' artistic journey and strengthens her in further exploring her themes and making them visible internationally.
