Part of the Berlin campaign "It's Your Turn, Berlin" with "The Sky Within"

We are delighted to announce that Breeny Collins' work "The Sky Within" has been selected for Berlin's "Du bist am Zug Berlin" campaign and will soon be visible in public spaces in Berlin.
The campaign brings art to where people encounter each other daily: into the city, amidst movement, everyday life, and urban impressions. It is precisely this direct encounter that makes public art so special for Collins. Art leaves the protected space of a gallery and becomes part of public life.
About "The Sky Within"
"The Sky Within" explores physicality, identity, and the inner space we carry within ourselves as human beings. The work combines organic forms with emotional depth and addresses the relationship between body, perception, and inner freedom.
Like many of her works, this piece is created using body-related impression techniques with acrylic paint. The body is not viewed as an object but as an expression of memory, strength, vulnerability, and self-determination.
The title "The Sky Within" refers to the idea that expansiveness, hope, and emotional landscapes are not only found externally but also within ourselves.
Art in Public Spaces
Especially in public spaces, art develops a special effect. People encounter it unexpectedly – on their way to work, while waiting, or in the midst of everyday life. These unplanned encounters often create immediate and honest access.
For Collins, it is particularly meaningful to be able to present a work with themes such as physicality, identity, and female self-determination in a public context. Visibility plays an important role here: visibility of perspectives, emotions, and stories that are often overlooked or oversimplified.
Gratitude and Outlook
We are very grateful to be part of "Du bist am Zug Berlin" and thank the entire team for the opportunity to share Breeny Collins' art with so many people.
In the coming weeks, we will provide behind-the-scenes insights and, of course, show where "The Sky Within" will be on display in Berlin.
We look forward to sharing this journey with you.
